How do I check if auto-renewal is turned on or off?

Checking your auto-renewal status is slightly different depending on whether you use the Zego Sense app, or the Zego Delivery app.

Customers using the Zego Sense app

First, open the Zego Sense app and tap ‘Policies’ at the bottom of the screen. Then tap ‘Policy details’ on your policy. Here you’ll be able to see if it is on or off.

  • If auto-renewal is turned on, the auto-renewal toggle will be green (to the right), and you'll see a statement that confirms the date that the policy will renew.

  • If auto-renewal is turned off, the auto-renewal toggle will be grey (to the left), and you'll see a statement confirming that the policy will not automatically renew.

Please note, if auto-renewal isn’t available on your policy, you won’t see the auto-renewal option.

I can still see the 'Renew now' button in the app. Does that matter?

No matter whether auto-renewal is on or off, you'll still see the 'Renew now' button appear in the Sense app when you are in your renewal window. This allows you to put your renewal in place yourself.

  • If you have auto-renewal on, this means that if you'd like to go ahead with your renewal early, you've got the option to do that. However, the auto-renewal process will still continue as normal, even if you don't do anything.

  • If you have auto-renewal off, you'll need to use this option to go ahead with your renewal. You're policy will not renew unless you the 'Renew now' button.

Customers using the Zego Delivery app

If you have a 30 day policy, you can check if auto-renewal is switched on or off from our Live Chat in the Zego Delivery app. To do this, follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the Zego Delivery app.

  2. Tap 'Help' at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap 'Chat to an Agent' to access our Live Chat.

  4. Once the chat opens, ask us to turn auto-renewal on or off.

  5. We'll be able to let you know if it's turned on or off, and if you want to change it, we'll be able to create a case for you to make the change.

  6. Once it's changed, we'll send you an email as confirmation.

Please note, if you have an annual policy, we will not be able to turn auto-renewal on as we do not offer auto-renewals for annual policies that are managed in the Zego Delivery app.
