You do not need to place your phone in a specific position for Zego Sense to work correctly.
Zego Sense detects driving behaviour using your phone’s motion sensors and GPS. It does not rely on the phone being in a holder or in any particular orientation.
What matters
Your phone simply needs to be:
Secure, and
Moving with the car, rather than moving independently
As long as your phone is stable, Zego Sense can accurately detect acceleration, braking, cornering and speed.
Phone placement
Your phone can be kept securely in any suitable place in the car — for example in a phone holder, a storage compartment, or another secure location — as long as it does not slide around or move separately from the vehicle.
