With a Zego Sense policy, the Sense app is designed to build a picture of your overall driving style. So whether you are driving for your job, or driving as part of your day-to-day routine, we need the Sense app to be installed with all of the permissions enabled at all times. Do I need to keep the Sense app on at all times?
Yes you need to keep the Zego Sense app installed with permissions enabled throughout your policy, even when you're not driving. This is what allows the app to detect and track your trips automatically.
What if I haven't built a driver rating yet?
To generate your initial rating, you'll need to complete at least 5 trips and drive 65 miles. Until then, the app is collecting data but you won't see a rating displayed. If you're a newer customer and haven't reached that threshold yet, just keep driving normally your rating will appear once you've met those requirements.
Does this also apply if I am driving on holiday?
Yes - you need to keep your permissions enabled at all times, no matter where you are driving.
However, all trips from outside of the UK are not used to calculate your driver rating.
