How do I add an additional driver?

Personal Car, Business Van and Personal Van Insurance

If you have our Personal Car, Business Van or Personal Van Insurance, you can add an additional driver to your cover.

You'll need to contact us to add the additional driver. The easiest way to do this is to start a new chat from the Zego Sense app, or you can find our contact details here.

With an additional driver on your policy, it's important to remember the following:

  • The policyholder must remain the main driver of the policy.

  • The policyholder is required to maintain the minimum driver score through their driving, not the additional driver's.

  • The Zego Sense app works for the policyholder only. Additional drivers are not required to use the Zego Sense app.

All other Zego Products

For all other products (for example, taxi or delivery cover) we only cover the policyholder to drive the vehicle. This means that you can’t add additional drivers.
