After buying your new taxi policy
As soon as you buy your Uber taxi policy, you’ll receive an email and SMS from us with a link to connect your Zego and Uber Accounts.
Click the link and you’ll be redirected to the partner.uber.com webpage. You’ll need to log into your Uber account to complete the linking process.
You’ll also get a text message verification code to confirm your identity with Uber. You’ll need to enter this code when you log in.
Log into your Uber account using the same email address you have registered with Zego, your password and your Uber SMS verification code to finish setting up your account.
Once Uber has accepted your details and verification code, you’ll be redirected to the Linking Page (above). All you need to do is scroll down and click the ‘allow’ button to successfully link your Zego account with Uber.
If you’re already logged into Uber and Zego on your mobile phone, all you need to do is scroll down and click the ‘allow’ button to successfully link your Zego account with Uber.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I don't link my policy with Uber?
It's a requirement for an Uber taxi policy to be linked with Uber. You'll need to do this in the first 7 days of your policy, or your cover will be cancelled.
What if I can't find the SMS or email?
If you can't find either the text message or the email, you'll need to get in touch with us. We'll resend the them to you so that you can complete the linking process.
