We use that last 28 days of driving to build up your driver rating over a 35 day period.
If your driver rating has changed after a day where you haven't driven, it's usually because the data from your trips has taken a little bit longer to reach us.
This also means if you've not driven for a period longer than a week, you may see a drop in your driver rating - so if you're out of the country for more than a week (for example, on holiday), you'll need to improve your driver rating again when you get back to the UK.
However, if you haven't driven for a single day, your driver rating will not be affected.
Rest assured, that your driver rating only reflects the time that you are driving, so if it does change, the updated number is correct.
